Far More Precious Than Jewels Proverbs 31
Today we take a moment not only to worship our God but to honor some of His most incredible handiwork—our mothers.
To every mom in our church family: thank you. We see your love, your labor, your strength, and your sacrifice. We see the sleepless nights, the emotional investments, and the countless daily decisions made in love. You are truly far more precious than jewels (Proverbs 31:10).
Proverbs 31 is not a checklist or a guilt trip—it’s a celebration. It reminds us of the beauty and value of faithful women who work hard, love deeply, and fear the Lord. The worthy woman described there is strong, wise, compassionate, and full of dignity. She blesses her family and community—and God calls her life beautiful.
To our mothers: we honor you. We thank God for your influence. And we pray you will be encouraged not just today, but every day, knowing your work matters deeply—to your family, to your church, and to God.
To all of us: let’s not wait until Mother’s Day to give our praise. Call her. Hug her. Tell her what she means to you. And if she’s gone, honor her by how you live.
And to anyone seeking the beauty of a Proverbs 31 life—it starts with the fear of the Lord. Trust Him. Follow Him. He will shape you into someone truly radiant in His eyes.
